Clock Watcher
I have become a clock watcher again - I find myself going out of my way to get to the kitchen to look at the time. Even my kids enjoy telling time. It's sturdy, solidly built, beautiful color, and super pleasing on the eye! I get so many compliments.

Perfect Size
I bought this as a gift for my husband who complained that he never knew what time it was. Perfect size for him to see from almost any place including his office. Very classic look and runs very well so far.

It's good
Obviously this is fairly expensive and there are reviews here saying it used to be half as expensive. Compared with some alternatives for about 1/3 the price, the biggest changes added here are the domed glass, stylistic bends in the casing, the sweep second hand which is really nice, and the keyhole mount. I can't speak to the longevity of the movement but everything seems good to me! Movement is completely silent, contrasting with a comment on another review of a different Schoolhouse clock saying this one wasn't silent (it is). For those confused about mounting, a 1/4" Fisher anchor (or something similar) and matching screw is a good choice, let the screw stick out of the wall just a bit, and it's no problem. Look at it from the side when setting it down on the screw.

Love these clocks!
I have bought THREE of these clocks I love them so much (even after the first one arrived damaged) and have them all over the house. I waited and waited because of the price before finally buying each one... But they are large, substantial, statement-making clocks that look great, and I haven't regretted splurging...three times!
