Ray 17" Pendant

Love my special Ray kitchen sink light. It compliments the harvest gold tile work and age of the property. Beautiful fixture!

I waited for years before purchasing the right pendant for my dining area. When I seen the Ray Pendant in white, my search was over. It fits just right with my mid-century dining table and the quality is great.

I got 2 of these in black for above my kitchen island. Quality seems very high and love the look. Using them with a hue bulbs produces a particularly dramatic effect. My electrician had an easy time with the installation. My only complaint is that the gap between the metal hood and the glass bulb cover is on the tight side if you have larger hands so changing the bulb can be a bit of a pain when its on.

Rod was a little short but the color and quality was beautiful . I hope I pass before I need to change the light bulbs! Even the electrician was challenged.

The glass is a little ripply but I suppose that comes with the territory. Love it.

I'd been eyeing this pendant for a long time and am so happy to have it in my home. Its simplicity is beautiful.

The Ray is hanging above the staircase at our cabin replacing an unnecessary fan. The size and brightness are perfect for the location. I like the understatement of shell white. The rounded lines are easy and match the feeling of the cabin. #schoolhouserulz

We ordered this in white for my kitchen and it looks amazing. Had to rotate it around a bit to get it to hand straight, but we eventually found that sweet spot.

We recently updated our kitchen and ordered 3 of the Ray8” pendants for over the island and 1 Ray6” pendant for the kitchen window. They are perfect. They add so much character the the kitchen. Schoolhouse was a great company to work with. I was a little hesitant at first because they would have to be shipped across the country. I worried for nothing. They were shipped on time and arrived in perfect condition.

Build quality is OK, but not fantastic. More importantly, Schoolhouse support was surprisingly poor! Due to our own fault, we purchased the lamp with too short (by about 2-4”) of an extension rod. This is a piece that is specked out when you purchase it, and that you install after it is shipped to you. It is a trivial installation, and an extremely simple part. When I contacted the school house to PURCHASE a longer extension rod, they said this was impossible – – but gave no reason for why that was the case. Our only option was to ship the lamp back to them (from the east coast) and accept a very steep restocking fee, and then if still interested re-order a new lamp with a longer rod at full price. This type of customer service seems outrageous for a premium priced lamp.

Not worth the price at all. Bought for a customer & they were so disappointed in the quality that we had to purchase something else. Schoolhouse refused to allow the return. Such a rip-off. Do NOT recommend to anyone
