Traditional Schoolhouse Shade - Black Stripe

Beautiful shades, exactly what we needed. Excellent craftsmanship, received in a timely manner and each piece was packaged with care.

I bought this to replace a shade that broke the best I could since the same light fixture doesn't seem to be for sale anymore. For now, I am very happy with how it looks but this shade is so much nicer (substantial and beautifully crafted) than the others I am going to replace them too! It even matches the shades on the other pendant lights in the room better too. The 4" rim worked out well but I do need to figure out a way to balance it better in the fixture, seems like I need to extend the fastener screws a bit (will experiment, pencil erasers may do the trick). I am very happy with this product!

Vertical size is too short. Modern LED, 29 watt, 150 watt equivalent, light bulbs in fans do not fit. The globe is about 1/2 in to 3/4 in too short ... not allowing the globe to be attached to the fan. I am forced to use a smaller, less bright, light bulb. The first photograph is of your globe, the globe has more of a point, which reduces the height and hits the larger bulb. The second photograph is of my other fan's globe which is deep enough.

We needed to replace the light fixture for a Casablanca fan, finally saw this item in a magazine, double checked the dimensions, ordered, it fits perfectly.

Renovated an old brownstone and wanted to use same light fixtures that were there. Rewiring old pendants was too expensive and also wanted globes to match. Used some old globes and some new ones. Worked perfectly.

Makes our hallway special :)
