Rospo Table Lamp

I don’t think I’ve ever had such affectionate feelings for a lamp. I put the Rospo Table Lamp (in yellow) next to my bed and every time I get into my bed in the evening, I talk to the lamp. I’m not crazy, but somehow this lamp just makes me feel happy and taken care of. It has a beautiful soft, glowing light, and the design is stunning. Nice dimmer switch, too. My husband commented (based on the website picture) that it looked like a mushroom, and I guess I can see that, but it really doesn’t. Or else it is a very elegant mushroom. Anyway, beautiful, and “really ties the room together. ”

During the past couple months we’ve bought several SchoolHouse lighting products and clocks. . they’re pricey but in the long run worth the dollars…my problem with SchoolHouse and doing business in the future centers around customer service. . the lack of being able to contact them by telephone and not able to talk to a live person is a problem for me…I had a question the other day about a bulb…it would have taken about 15 seconds for an answer but after doing the on line chat,etc…I never did get a good answer and it took about 20 minutes of my time…when I do business with Design Within Reach you can access a live person and get an immediate answer…”come on” SchoolHouse it’s time to examine your customer service.

This works anywhere in my home and works well to draw attention in the periphery of my vision to unexpected locations. Excellent olive color. It shouldn’t be used for a main lighting source because it’s too hard to look right at but it’s a perfect accent.

A little bigger than I expected, but attractive. Give off a nice, warm light. Love the dimmer function.

I was trying to decide between this lamp and the Teig lamp but ultimately decided on this one because I was looking for something with more presence. I am so glad I did - this was far bigger than I imagined and looks so great on my credenza. The light it emits is dimmable too so it has a lovely feel to it. So pleased.

I really love this lamp. It’s warm, both in light hue and wood tone (I purchased the Birch model). The dimmer switch is perfect, allowing you to set the ambiance of the room just right. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a timeless piece that gives the room a vibe.
