Nicolai Towel Bar

These towel bars are solid and have a great finish. The flathead screws and clean lines match our 1930s style bath. The mounting hardware is excellent.

I like plain designs and unadorned design is frequently hard to find. The hardware was easy to install and it is quite sturdy. Just what I wanted. Thanks.

For the sales price, this bar is well made and sturdy. I have a bit of an issue with how easily the paint scrapes away near the screw holes while installing it, but so far it hasn't shown itself as a large issue. For the OG price, I would say its not worth the money. But, huge but, the customer service experience dealing with Schoolhouse has been the worst I have ever experienced. I had issues installing the product (you need to make sure the drywall pulls are completely flush with the wall or you will need to abandon them). Knowing that most companies (especially "luxury" product companies) would take care of me no problem, I contacted the Schoolhouse customer service to ask for new parts. I was told via phone they would send them after calling. Never sent them. I contacted them via email, which led to a phone call. He tried to charge me $20 for a few screws and two drywall pulls. After saying that's ridiculous, he agreed to send them. Well, that was five days ago and I have seen no shipping notification nor has a shipment arrived at my doorstep. I live in Boise so its basically one to two day shipping from Portland. This experience with Schoolhouse has been absolutely demoralizing and some of the worst customer experience I have ever received. I lost a washer on my Moen shower wand and I had a replacement on my doorstep two days later. I have now been dealing with Schoolhouse for three weeks and have received nothing.
