Lausanne Entrance Handleset with Cylinder Knob - Satin Brass

I am beyond pleased with this handleset, which looks fantastic on my new door. It is perfectly sleek and modern. More importantly, it feels wonderful—the quality of the materials and workmanship is evident the second you use it. The handleset is a high quality weight, operates smoothly, and is so satisfying to use. I love it!

We were having trouble finding the right handle to go with our new door. Thought we wanted the long bar type in person they were just meh. After searching we came across this set and knew it would be the perfect compliment to our door. Its Emtek so its super well made. We had a contractor install it since it was a new door. He was happy it was Emtek because they are “a joy to install”.

Pros: + Locking mechanism is smooth and feels secure + Handleset is solid and adds heft to door + Product directions and packaging are well done Cons: - The matte black finish of the key slot is already chipping away and revealing the metallic brass base after only two weeks of use (see pic). For the price of this handleset, you would expect a higher quality finish or different solution to avoid this issue. - Deadbolt lock does not click and stay at 90 degree angle when closed (see pic). There is a small amount of wobble/play in either open or closed position which doesn’t feel of equal quality to the rest of the handleset. Plus, when the deadbolt lock isn’t sitting square, it diminishes the “square” nature of the entire design.

Beautiful

The handset is beautiful and very sturdy. I would have given 5 stars, but the latch lever sticks on the entrance side. But overall, very happy with this purchase.
