Drum Shade

LOVE this shade! Exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful craftsmanship and fun vintage design.

Purchased 3 of these multi-color strip drums along with the matching flush mount for our new kitchen. They are beautiful and incorporate moat of the colors I already have throughout my home. They make me smile every time I walk into the room. I knew the first time I saw them, that they needed to be in my home. The only thing that catches my eye is that one of the 3 drum shades is missing a stripe. I know since they are hand painted, each piece is unique, only 1 is different. I can be over critical and so far seem to be the only one that has noticed. Not a deal breaker for me.

This shade feels like a modern twist on the schoolhouse shade and provides bright, yet warm light in my foyer. The sale price makes this a steal. Excellent quality. I purchased to replace another Schoolhouse shade (that I love and couldnt bear to part with) to take to my new home.

These make me smile every day :). The only issue is that of the three I bought, two are muted colors and one is noticeably brighter.

I fell I love with this shade when I first saw it online; in person, the color and craftsmanship is even better than I hoped!

The review title pretty much says it all. The drum shade is perfect. We love it. We have an old house that we’re slowly renovating, and this is the perfect mix of classic and modern. I never worry that I’ll get what I expect when I buy things from Schoolhouse. The one and only issue I ever have is shipping times, which is always a bit of a gamble. Other online retailers have greatly improved this aspect of the online experience (accurate and precise ship time estimates, and shorter shipping windows), but Schoolhouse is more ‘hope for the best and be prepared for the worst’. Sony misunderstand, everything is always well packed. I’ve never had an issue with quality.

Schoolhouse shades are always in my home. I love having the ability to switch the shade to change the vibe. The drum shade did not disappoint.

This is absolutely adorable. The colors in the stripes aren’t quite as vibrant as expected but it doesn’t matter. So unique!

Purchased this for small office and is perfect.

Arrived well packed and safe. I was looking for a clear shade to fit an antique fitting because I thought that clear would let more light shine through. This is perfect and it looks great!
