This throw reminds me of ones my mother brought me home when they were retired from the hospital where she worked. The tight weaving, the satisfying heft, the thick hems, the efficient, utilitarian construction. My only suggestion is to make the pinstripes go vertical on the long side so they match the length of my legs when I am buried under it.

I LOVE this throw blanket. I have a modern grey couch that I've been trying to soften up with pillows and blankets. This is a super cozy addition to snuggle up with while watching a movie. Love this Blanket!
I had been looking for a nice durable throw blanket for quite a while and this one is perfect! We have two dogs who are constantly snagging things with their nails. This has a tight enough weave that it doesn’t snag easily. And it’s easily washable! I think we’re going to get a second one because we love it so much!
