PRODUCT CARE:Shedding of loose fiber may occur and will lessen with regular cleaning. Do not pull loose ends, instead clip with scissors to remove. Shake or vacuum as needed. It's preferable to use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar. When adjustable, set beater bar to the highest pile setting and set power to low. Vacuum full length of rug, rather than back and forth motion. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean sponge or cloth. Professional rug cleaning recommended. Harsh chemicals and direct sun exposure may damage or fade rug. Use rug protectors under furniture. Rug pad recommended for use on hard floor.

All 8’ x 10’ and 9’ x 12’ rugs are final sale. Oversized items ship via a third-party carrier freight with scheduled delivery. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery once the item has shipped. All other sizes may be returned if sent back within 30 days of the delivery date. Please ensure those items are unused, have not been installed, and are in original factory condition.

Beautifully Made Rug
Super happy with the quality of this rug! The checkers have slightly different pile heights which makes the patterning feel unique.

Great rug, ridiculously expensive shipping
I got my rug in mid October. I originally wanted the 9 x 12, but the shipping was SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS. I even confirmed with customer service that that was correct and they said it was. I was never going to pay that on principal so I got the 8 x 10 instead (and paid “only” $340 for shipping). Interestingly, I just checked and now the shipping is down to $450 for the 9 x 12. Perhaps my incredulous email propelled the change? I don’t know but it’s a wonder Schoolhouse is still in business with these kind of shipping rates. And I don’t want to hear any sob stories from Schoolhouse about how expensive shipping has become, there are plenty of US based furniture stores that somehow make it affordable (Room & Board for one). I will say though, I do really like the rug. Buy it if it’s on sale!
