Moodiest little powder room entrance for the Peters family 🌝 The final space in their first-floor renovation which included a major kitchen overhaul (link in bio to read the blog post on the full reno). I love the drama (+ touch of whimsy) of this Alpine Garden wallpaper in the ‘Ebony’ colorway by hyggeandwest x schoolhouse. When you’ve got a tiny, window-less space—especially with lots of wonky angles like this one, located under the stairway—you can 100% get away with going BOLD. Taking the dark wallpaper allllll the way up visually erases the boundary lines between wall and ceiling—resulting in a trick of the eye that actually helps the room feel more expansive, while also remaining cocoon like. The perfect squash-hued basin by concretti_designs, sunny ‘Chamomile’ Alabax sconces by Schoolhouse, and brass accents (some new, some original to the home) reflect just the right amount of light, and round out the period-appropriate scheme that also feels fresh and modern.
