Come Summer With Us

For our new summer collection, we looked to the 1970s – a time when life felt more easygoing and casual, when clothing and furnishings came in rich hues and patterns, when design was positive and confident. We called the collection Summer Sway.
This young skateboarder – his clothing, his attitude, his carefree energy – captured everything we wanted in our summer collection.
When it came time to photograph the new products, we found a cabin on the Wilson River, west of Portland, Oregon – a place that embodied a nostalgic, low-key summer. At the shoot, someone mentioned that the best way to enjoy the shallow parts of the river in summer is to just sit in the cool water and let the water pass around you. That sounded like the mood we were going for: a dip in the river, dinner on the porch, hanging out around the firepit.
A handy sideboard with rounded corners and a rug with the comforting tones of the 70s.
The playful and energetic mood we wanted shines through in our Tulbend Quilt, with its sunny tones and sweet tulip pattern, and our seersucker bedding.
