Perfection
This is what I expected when I ordered from Schoolhouse! Great style and quality that lasts a lifetime. Customer service is impeccable. This shade is gorgeous and gives just the right amount of vintage to my modern home.

Gorgeous!
We paired the shade with the Otis 6” surface mount and the combination of the two has really transformed the space we installed it in

I love this shade
When it first came out of the box I was worried it was too big and too heavy but once installed I am thrilled! Beautiful product. Looks like it was always part of my 1920’s home but modern as well.

too heavy
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. One review talked about the shade crashing down which is my fear. I have written to schoolhouse saying the weight should be in the description. If it had been I would not have made the mistake of buying this shade

Beautiful shade but perhaps too heavy
We bought this shade because it matched the art deco style of our house. It is indeed very beautiful. The catch: it's likely too heavy as ours fell to the ground and shattered, even after being properly secured with the fixture screws. Luckily, no one was around to be hit by the falling shade. Sadly, Schoolhouse did not agree to providing us with a replacement shade (either the original shade or a less heavy one).
