Beautiful, but delicate
I finally splurged and got this pot I’ve been eyeing for years. It arrived in perfect condition. Whil washing it for the first time, before first use, my hand slipped and the pot fell, not terribly hard or terribly far, into my stainless steel sink. The side handle got a small nick and enamel was gone. So yes, the other reviewers are right- it’s a CV pretty darn light coating of enamel and this baby is likely to get chilled up with normal use. I’m wondering if vintage ones from 50 years ago might be worth the investment if they had a thicker coating of enamel. So, I still love it but am a bit disappointed in the quality.

This navy blue casserole replaces a red one I had for 40 years! Beautiful finish and good disseminator of heat. So handsome I serve it at table. Make sure to clean well both inside and out (follow directions)to preserve its good looks!

It’s The Simple Things-
I love this casserole dish and have it in multiple sizes. It’s lightweight durability makes it one of my go to dishes to use on a daily basis. The Dansk has a way to make a ordinary pot look elegant without being overdone.
