We fused the arcing lines of a Scandinavian classic with handcrafted, vintage-inspired materials to create this Schoolhouse Original. A study in simplicity and elegance, this mid-century modern pendant illuminates a room even when idle. Handcrafted from steel on a custom lathe, each material offers a juxtaposition of light, finish and texture. The hand spun steel is a celebration of color. Hand-finished with gloss white interior, the pendants brilliant hue is sure to leave a lasting impression. The hand spinning process lends a unique quality to each shade. Perfect pendants
I lined three of these up over a kitchen counter. They drop 50" from the ceiling. I was afraid the scale might be too small for the space and ceiling height, but they are dead elegant and grace the space without overwhelming it.
