I purchased this coverlet to complete my son’s “big boy room” design. The quality of the coverlet is excellent and I have confidence it will last well into the teenage years. The design is classic and the color is wonderful, adding a vibrant pop to an otherwise blue/white scheme.

This is really quite beautiful, bit it was expensive. After about three weeks of use, the threads are starting to frizz up on the red side. I'm not sure it will end up being as durable as I had hoped for the price.

I decided to 'splurge' on this coverlet since it was on sale. As we know even the sale price isn't cheap, per se - but you are paying for quality in craftsmanship and style. I needed something that would properly cover my king bed - I had a queen previously and had a left over parachute linen cover that just didn't cover the entire mattress when the bed was made and it was driving me nuts. I was hunting for a while on the right replacement, and I'm very happy I bought this one in King size. I had a really hard time choosing the color way, the red tone is just so fabulous and sometimes I feel a bit sad I didn't get that instead, but I still do love the yellow and cream color way that I have (and it matches the muted earth tones around my room and house.) Be sure to wash your coverlet right away, it definitely has an out-of-the-bag smell that goes away with a simple wash of no perfume-Oxi clean. It says to tumble dry low and I did and didn't notice any shrinkage, (maybe a tad) especially since it covers my low height king bed more than adequately. If you have a very tall bed, it will handsomely cover your entire top mattress with room to cover the pillows or to fold back if you so desire. The coverlet is thicker than I expected! Compared to my last linen cover that was a thick weave, this is a double weave (can be reversed) so that adds an extra layer which is perfect for fall in the high desert when it's not quite cold enough for a duvet. Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase. I was annoyed at the purchase process as it said 'this item ships free' but when I bought it, I got charged. I had to chase down customer service (they don't take calls) you have to write them via email, but in the end I got my shipping cost returned. They also charge a bunch of weird taxes on top of your order since they are in OR and I am in CA I got hosed on a bunch of extra little fees but that's my stupid state for ya... Don't hesitate to buy this if you need a new and playful cover for your bed! It adds a fun flair to the room.

Colors are vivid, and you can feel the quality. Extremely well made. Love it!
