Designed for a relaxed, medium-soft seating experience, our cushions feature high resiliency foam, ensuring they maintain their shape even with frequent use. For an extra layer of plush softness, the back cushions are thoughtfully filled with hypoallergenic Trillium fiber. The sofa's frame is meticulously constructed from kiln-dried hardwood, utilizing interlocking mortise and tenon joints for enhanced stability. Simple, durable, comfortable
I’ve been looking for a simple, timeless green couch for quite a few years now and this one really ticks all the boxes. I like the firmness of the cushions and the size of the seat. So far it’s survived the cats so that’s an added bonus. Love the color (alder wool) too — it’s subtle and won’t show stains. It took forever to ship (5-6 months) but that’s standard with most big furniture now. A great couch so far.

Couch of our dreams
After searching for a couch for years, this couch is everything we were hoping for and more! We got the Alder Wool green color which is very accurate to the picture. Our two dogs jump up on it all the time— it maintains its structure well and is easy to clean. It elevates our space, the quality is perfect and the delivery process was pain-free. Very pleased!

Obsessed with the couch & ottoman
We have been searching high and low for the perfect couch for our family room and the Milo couch checks all of our boxes. It is SO deep and really cozy - we all love snuggling up on it and watching a movie. So happy we bought it.

Alder Wool Sofa
Have had the sofa for almost a year. Really enjoying the sofa, it is very comfortable and working well for use by my family and kids. Order process was smooth and had it delivered to the Portland warehouse. Staff in site were very helpful with the process and with helping load the sofa when it came in.

Disappointed
I purchased this sofa a little over a year ago and am very disappointed with the quality. After just occasional, light use the cushions are heavily sagging and disfigured. It already looks extremely worn and will likely need to be replaced soon. At this price point, I expected much better.

Would be amazing if it had arrived
I ordered the Milo sofa and ottoman in August. The expected ship time was mid October. It’s mid November now. I reached out to customer service a few weeks ago for an updated ETA. The next day I received a tracking number and notification that the pieces had shipped. As of today, the tacking number shows no record of the shipment.
I’ve received non-furniture items from Schoolhouse. They shipped quickly and are of exceptional quality. I have little doubt that the sofa and ottoman would be so too.
I wouldn’t have posted this review if Schoolhouse hadn’t requested that I do so even as I have not received my pieces.
Delays in the post-pandemic world are typical. I just wish Schoolhouse were less opaque about what is happening with my order
