Inspired by the flash and fervor of mid-century Italian design, this spring we welcomed a new and perfectly petite addition to our Donna Collection, opens in a new tab. Hand-assembled in our Portland factory, the Donna Table Lamp, opens in a new tab was designed to catch the eye from every angle with high-end detailing like a knurled pull chain and top uplit perforations in three stunning finish options. To celebrate its arrival, we asked three friends of Schoolhouse to choose their favorite Donna Table Lamp and show us how they styled it in their homes.

“I love the versatility of the Donna. Its streamlined, Mid-Century styling pairs beautifully with so many different looks and is right at home in my Tudor-style abode. I’ve been wanting to bring in more ambient lighting into our dining room, and the Donna's size and glow is perfect in here. Not to mention, it’s a SOLID piece—heavy & well-made.”

“Now that things are warming up, spring fever is hitting hard around these parts. I thought it would be pretty to pair the lamp with organic elements like flowering branches, a painterly portrait, and wooden bead garland to juxtapose the lamp's bold, clean lines - as well as appease my Spring fever.”

“What I love most about the Donna table lamp is the lamp's timeless style. The lamp is so versatile, pairing well with my vintage pieces and also adding a classic element to my more modern pieces. I choose to incorporate the Donna table lamp in my guest bedroom because it adds a touch of sophistication and provides soft ambiance lighting perfect for nighttime reading.”

"If there is one thing that I can never have too much of it is lighting, especially when it's a classic shape, in a good finish, and a good scale. I used this little Donna lamp by Schoolhouse in my bedroom to add a little bit of light on my hutch and she is fitting in quite nicely with all of her new friends. It's a piece that practically styles itself, and as a stylist you know that is something that I can stand behind."
