As part of our Benchmade line, the Factory 4 Outdoor Sconce is a faithful Schoolhouse take on the classic barn light that brings utilitarian design to indoor and outdoor spaces alike. Crafted with hand-spun steel, powder-coated and painted in-house at our Portland factory, this wet-rated fixture features a wide, angular shade with a glossy white interior for a warm, diffused glow. An optional thermoplastic-coated wire cage adds an extra layer of industrial charm—perfect for front porches, patios, mudrooms, or entryways.

Before a Benchmade light can illuminate your home, each piece is meticulously designed and constructed in our Portland, Oregon, factory. Our manufacturing team prepares each fixture by scuffing, sandblasting, or buffing the metal parts before giving them a wash of lacquer, powder coating, or paint in one of our exclusive colors. Finally, each light is assembled by hand and tested for quality before being carefully packaged and delivered to your door.

Rust in under a year

We are on our second set of these. They are completely rusted over. I would not advise anyone who lives in a climate where it rains to purchase these. Definitely not meant for the outdoors.

Love this quilt

Beautifully made and the perfect weight. I paired it with my Stillwater quilt in green. They look great together. Usually a full/queen quilt is too small for a queen mattress (I wish manufacturers would stop lumping those sizes together--they're not the same!), but this is a generous size that doesn't look strangely skimpy on my queen bed. Wonderful handcrafted items!

Love this

Absolutely in love

I could not be happier with my Luna lights. The look fantastic on, off, inside the house and when looking through the windows outside. I love the way they reflect in the glass of our many windows. Perfect for our cabin in the woods.

I am addicted to Schoolhouse bedding!

We bought some Schoolhouse bedding for our guest room and loved them so much we had to get some for our actual bedroom. I love the design options (not your average boring bedding) and they are great quality too. A bit of an investment, but worth it I think.
