Shake or vacuum as needed. It's preferable to use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar. When adjustable, set beater bar to the highest pile setting and set power to low. Vacuum full length of rug, rather than back and forth motion. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean sponge or cloth. For rugs up to size 4' x 6’ machine wash cold and dry flat. For larger rugs, professional rug cleaning recommended. Harsh chemicals and direct sun exposure may damage or fade rug. Use rug protectors under furniture. Rug pad recommended for use on hard floor.

Beautiful olive rug
This is a beautiful rug - the colors are just like in the photo, it's an olive green that feels fresh and vibrant when the sun shines on it and more muted in the dark. I was struggling to find a rug that would fit my red couch & brighten up the room without being too light and this works perfectly. It's a bit slippery but that's to be expected and can be fixed with a good pad underneath. It arrived very promptly and was well-packaged. A win!

Very Happy with my rug!
The rug was well packed and arrived quickly. The quality is very nice and feels soft under bare feet. It really warmed up my living room. I don't think the color difference between the photos online and the actual product are that dramatic. This is a very nice flatweave rug especially considering the price. I will order from Schoolhouse again in the future! ☘️

Nice Addition to My Kitchen
Really like this cotton rug as a runner in my kitchen. Not too plush, feels really well-made. I looked at a lot of washable options and this is definitely better than some other brands. I washed it for the first time (followed the care instructions exactly) and it did shrink almost an inch on the long side. A little bit bummed about that, hence the 4 stars. All good though, I will just trim the rug pad underneath to match.
