Summery Aperol Spritz

INGREDIENTS:

  • Aperol

  • Sparkling wine (we used Swick's Long Weekend, opens in a new tab)

  • A splash of sparkling water

  • Lemon slice (traditionally it's made with an orange slice, but I like the acid of a lemon better because it cuts down the sweetness)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. To make, fill a large wine glass to the top with ice.

  2. Add 2 oz. Aperol and 2 oz. sparkling wine (we used a 1 to 1 ratio, but you can customize it to your taste)

  3. Top with a splash of soda water and a citrus slice. Enjoy!
