Summery Aperol Spritz
INGREDIENTS:
-
Aperol
-
Sparkling wine (we used Swick's Long Weekend, opens in a new tab)
-
A splash of sparkling water
-
Lemon slice (traditionally it's made with an orange slice, but I like the acid of a lemon better because it cuts down the sweetness)

DIRECTIONS:
-
To make, fill a large wine glass to the top with ice.
-
Add 2 oz. Aperol and 2 oz. sparkling wine (we used a 1 to 1 ratio, but you can customize it to your taste)
-
Top with a splash of soda water and a citrus slice. Enjoy!
