Inside 3 Stylish Homes Where Stillwater’s New Colors Shine

Some things just make a space feel more complete, and the Stillwater Quilt is definitely one of them. With its heirloom feel, mood-boosting floral pattern, and a trio of new heirloom hues in the mix, it’s the kind of piece that works just about anywhere. To celebrate the launch, we sent it to three creatives and asked them to style it their way. From vintage-filled kids’ rooms to hand-painted walls and cozy chaise lounges, their answers remind us that one beautiful piece can inspire a world of styling possibilities.

Classic-with-a-Twist
In interior designer Jolyn’s serene, light-filled space, the Stillwater Quilt takes on a quietly elegant role—draped over a chaise lounge or layered at the foot of the bed. “It’s the perfect lightweight blanket to use in the summer and great for layering in the winter,” she says. What really draws her in is the quilt’s subtle pattern play: “I love the floral design and the slightly different color scheme on the reverse.”

Her favorite unexpected pairing? “I love Stillwater with a smaller scale print on a pillow or patterned sheets.”

Maximalist Magic
Interior enthusiast Mattie’s layered approach to design is all about mixing pattern, texture, and personal history, and Stillwater fits right in. Styled in her daughters’ bedroom alongside vintage furniture, collected trinkets, and patterned sheets, the quilt becomes part of a rich, lived-in story. “The quality is what makes it a forever piece,” she shares. “It’s gorgeous, but it’s also the kind of thing we’ll pass down in our family.”

As for her favorite unexpected pairing? “All of the above. In our girls’ room, I styled them with patterned sheets, a plush rug, textured pillows, vintage furniture, and all of their little collected treasures. It makes for a magical space!”

Bold & Balanced
For digital creator and jewelry designer Natalie, maximalism isn’t about clutter—it’s about joy. Her home is filled with layered colors, rich textures, and bold design choices—but always with a sense of balance. “I’m definitely a maximalist,” she says, “but I also love clean lines and geometric patterns.” That’s exactly why she was drawn to the Stillwater Quilt. With its structured floral motif and considered color palette, it manages to feel both playful and composed—making it a natural fit in her carefully curated space.

The pairing that surprised her the most? “I was so excited to use the Stillwater Quilt against our bold clover ‘wallpaper’ (I hand-painted the Josef Frank pattern myself). I wasn’t sure if the patterns would clash, but they are so fun together!”
